i've got a 'gt pantera' bike and an LX 9 speed chainset 2003 splined type.
the BB shell is 73mm
what i need to find out is which bottom bracket would i need,
and what axle length.
i have looked at the shimano ES51 and i think that would fit,
it's just what axle length to go for
can anyone help?

Deore LX M571 Spiderless 113-118 mm V2 Spline 9-speed 2000-02. The length range is dependent on the chain stays on your frame, your smallest chainring size, and chainline.
