I am considering buying a new bike and it's a complicated propsal - there are so many different makes and types out there.
I want a hybrid road bike and I like the idea of disc brakes. My cantilever brakes are always needing adjusting and changing and disc brakes just seem a lot less hassle.
The only manufacturer that seems to do these brakes commonly on road bikes in boardman. My friend has one and it seems like a nice bike.
The fact that I would have to buy the bike from Halfords is really putting me off though. Every time I have been into Halfords about anything none of the staff have been able to offer me any real help at all.
Are boardman good bikes? Is it worth venturing into halfords?
