    If you're already involved in riding single track or off road stuff, I strongly recommend helping out with trail building stuff like this. It shows that trail users can be responsible in maintaining stuff, you'll learn skills, tips, greater awareness of local land use, and also helps to earn brownie points for the MTB community from land managers.
