Presumably your doctor didn't tell you to get a meter.

Depending which country you are in, go to the chemist, drugstore or supermarket and buy a
    glucometer. Then follow the instructions.

If you are already a diabetic, let us know what country you are in and someone will advise you where
to go for further diabetes eduction.

I did notice your other posting on insulin. If you are not diagnosed then you need to see a doctor
before injecting ANYTHING into your body.

Cheers Alan, T2, Oz. dx May 2002 , A1C 8.2=>5.8, wt 117kg=>90kg, no meds, diet and not enough
exercise. I have no medical qualifications beyond my own experience. Choose your advisers carefully,
because experience can be an expensive teacher.

  4. If you are diabetic your diabetes nurse or doctor should have prescribed one for you, however if
your not diabetic and need to test your blood sugar I suggest you make an appointment with your GP.
