Bikes for Just Tooling Around

Hi Bill,

Go to a couple bike shops near where you live, and tell them just what
you told us. Pick the shop that makes you the most comfortable, ride a
few bikes go with what feels good and they recommend. I think you'll
end up spending about 300 USD per bike for something that would work
well, fit well, last long and be backed by shop and manufacturer.
Don't go to Walmart, Sears, K-Mart, your local equivalent, or the feed
supply store. They only sell bicycle shaped objects.

Giant is a perfect brand for what you are describing. The Rincon I think
would do you almost perfectly. It isn't a toy nor is it a high tech mountain
bike.
