Bike substitute

Okay, that's pretty cool. But, how do you get going again once you get
out to the middle of the lake and you sink it because you're tired or
just plain crash?

If you're going to start throwing logic around, we'll never have any
cool stuff.

There was a segment on a show where I first saw this toy that showed
the hostess trying to learn to ride the thing, and you're exactly
right. She had to swim the thing back to the dock numerous times.
Even mentioned something to the effect that, hey, shouldn't this thing
_float_ more so it'd be easier to tow back.

The propulsion mechanism is pretty wild, incredibly simple, like most
brilliant things, and the top speed is [censored]' unbelievable. I'd love
to take the thing out on the Charles and keep pace with the varsity
Eight while taunting them to keep up.

I know, I have a mean streak.
