  1. I've got a need to store my two bikes outside the house...

we've got no shed room, and no garage, so scratching my head about possible secure options...

Has anyone had any experience building one of those little rollerdoor sheds that are about 70 cm
wide, and a little over a metre high? I've seen them around and about, but never seen a kit option
    for them...

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Andrew

Rollerdoor option might be a bit expensive.....how about something like the bike lockers that you
see at the train stations?? wouldn't take much to make one up and then dyna-bolt it down (assuming
that you have an area of concrete to put it on or a wall to bolt it to??).

  3. yeah, got the wall and concrete on the ground...

    Andrew

You could use some "weldmesh" fencing with a gate on one end to make a little enclosure. You would
need to fix some more similar mesh on the roof. You could wire some sheet iron panels on the
inside if you want more security and a screen for your bikes. Panels and posts are readily
available and you can bolt the posts to concrete using screw on flanges to water pipe posts. (Use
mesh and not that tubular fencing as it is pretty weak). Available from steel reinforcing
    suppliers or hardware shops.

Perhaps you can contact Bicycle NSW about the bike lockers as they had

something to do with them being located at stations and may know where to get one made up.

email them on [email hidden] or call them on 02 9281 4099

    It never hurts to ask!!

    good luck DJ
