  1. Hey all,

I need to find a good bike shop around the San Diego area. Does anybody know of a good shop?

I am having problems with my older road bike (Trek 470). The rear derailuer changes on its own and sometimes doesnt change when I need it to.

    THANKS FOR ANY HELP,
    Ron

Realistically, it sounds like you have some pretty basic problems.

Here are a couple of links to sites that might just give you the know-how to fix it yourself:

Otherwise, B&L Bikes, in Solana Beach, is home to Dan-o. Dan-o is reputed to be the best wrench in San Diego County.

It's pretty likely, though, that your problem is (relatively) simple--the kind of thing that any conscientious LBS wrench could bang out relatively inexpensively.

    Good luck!
