bike shoe inserts

Don't know if the insoles will help, but if I was having foot pain and looking for a cure, wouldn't worry about the 80 grams additional weight. Comfort is more important than miniscule weight savings any day of the week. Besides, just filling the water bottle an inch down from the top would even things out.

this might be my crashing point...when the weight of an insole is even a consideration... Think of it this way...even if you have a 17lb bike and you weigh 140lb, thats 157lb (71214g) total. the insoles weigh 80g more...thats .1%...not 1, but .1.

If you can convince me that the weight of a 80g insole is going to impact your riding in ANY way, I will personally pay your way through law school and hire you full time as my lawyer.

I just started using the SOLE slims in my SIDI Genius shoes. I like them. I have issues with my left foot...even off the bike...where I can have pins and needles for hours after riding....or wearing unsupportive street shoes. Though not completely gone this is 80% better since using the SOLE inserts and it has gotten better each ride as my feet adjust to the soles...I have only done 6 rides with them so far...I have no issues with my right foot.

The insoles are more comfortable than the stock insoles but your shoes need a bit of room to accomodate them so if you're already riding very snug footwear they MAY not work...I purchased mine locally and tried them in the shoes before buying.
