Bike Security Marking/Tagging

Doubts have been raised over whether the police bother to scan recovered
bikes for tags, but at least the stickers have /some/ deterrent value and
the tag would help in an ownership dispute.

Datatag is the most popular and well known brand. www.stoptheft.co.uk *
is a cheaper one. "Shuttlecock" (seat tube fitting)* or "grains of rice"
(stick anywhere) types are available.

* I bought these for my bikes (via eBay a while ago), no regrets. Device
weighs 8 grams. Probably possible for a hardcore clued-up theif to remove
it, but let's not post clues, please!

Transponder, shuttlecock type that fits in frame's seat tube.
