Bike Pumps for century ride

I like the mini combo pump that also uses the ultra-cheap, 12 gram CO2 cartridges. Since 12 grams will only get you to 80-90 PSI, using the pump to seat beads and put 20 PSI in the tire will get you to reasonable riding pressure. You always have the ability to eventually get to riding pressure but the CO2 is much quicker. And seating the beads manually is MUCH safer.

Oh yes, you can also use the pump mode to find the puncture in the tube so you may locate any potential cause of the puncture.

Best $20 I ever spent. Get the CO2 at 2 for $1 too!

Zefal HPX. It's not a small pump, but you can depend on it to work (and get the pressure you want) every time.
