i will be painting my bike this winter. my buddy in the autobody repair shop said he could paint it no problem. does anyone know what kind of paint/finish the factories use and if is availiable to the general public. thanks for any input

PPG is what a framebuilder used on mine. Some frame painters also still use Imron.
