  1. I do my basic bike maintenance, but I'd like to get into more "complex' stuff such as servicing BBs, hubs, pedals, changing cranks, cassettes, etc. Nothing a mere mortal can't do.

However, I don't want to take the "trial & error" road (too expensive)

Is anyone aware of bike mechanic training in Perth?

    thanks

    cheers

  2. There are plenty of bikes on the footpath. Pick up one or two and completely service them, learn fom experience, all types, 10 speeds (5x2), one pece cranks etc, get a book from the library or come over to my place. I do one a week if I don't have much work on.
