I wasn't sure where to put this so here it is.
I need to verify the price of my Cannondale R2000 for the purposes of insurance. Does anyone know how I could do this? I have no recepit as I purchased the bike through a collegiate club and have since misplaced paperwork. I don't think they make this model anymore either. Would a LBS be able to help me, or should I call Cannondale.
Depends on the policy you are trying to get for your personnel property – getting replacement value is the way to go…
For example my old warhorse at full retail value was 5,250 USD, I only paid including shipping 3,800 USD. However for the insurance company I have it valued at the full retail price (MRSP) since I may not be so lucky to get such a deal to replace it. You may have to do some digging to find the replacement value – MRSP, on your rig, but it’ll be worth it.
