  1. Okay, it's a very long shot, but I'm looking at a really
interesting job in the Hague. I have this image in my head
of the Netherlands being a very bike-friendly place. Can
anyone tell me, based on actual facts (not rumour or
innuendo) whether The Hague is a friendly place for bike
    commuters?

The answer won't be a major consideration, should I be
offered the job, but it might be a small factor in a
    decision.

I work in the Hague. I was born near Amsterdam. I live near
Arnheim. (A bridge too far movie area). As a city, the Hague
is just as biker friendly as any other major Dutch city, so
I think it is Ok. Seperate cycling paths and motorists who
are being used to people on bikes. If you like to have more
information you may want to consider to repeat your question
in news:nl.fiets and you will have some more answers in you
    own languag.

page us when you have settled in and I will show you around.

    cheers,

    Bert L.am
