Has anyone had any experience with www.sale-bikes.com (Promo Discount Bike) - who are discounting new, in-the-box bikes at mysteriously low prices ? ( Example: 2011 Felt Z6 for $594.00 )

It's a very common scam. They'll happily take your money, but don't expect to receive product because you won't. A lot of these originate in Malaysia or Indonesia. In this case, the scumbags are in Indonesia. -
Thanks alienator - I suspected something of that nature - like they say - if it's too good to be true ...............

HELP
looking to buy a 1984 Schwinn Traveller, its very clean, out of the box clean, can anyone please give me some info in it?
thanks -
Probably quite solid, but you're always taking a chance buying a 28-year-old bike.
The disadvantages of a low-mid-level bike this old are old-fashioned ergonomics, weight, and shortage of replacement parts like brake lever hoods, freewheels, and 27-inch tires (but these may be 700c)--not deal-killers, but things to consider. The big advantage is that these bikes are simple so most replacement parts are cheap and you don't have to play the "is it compatible?" game.
