Hi everyone long time reader of these posts, first time poster.
Looking for some advice...
I am home recovering from major reconstructive shoulder surgery and doc's orders are to keep me off from riding my Trek for at least 6 months. So I was thinking of purchasing an exercise bike either Recumbent or Uprights does anyone have any advice on either.
Thanks a million all.

Use whatever exercise bike is the most comfortable for you, and what yur doctor recommends. My latest bike is a recumbent, having just recently switched from a road bike. For me the recumbent is the ultimate comfort machine. If I ever purchased an exercise bike it would probably be a recumbent type. In the mean time I wonder if there are training rollers available for recumbents??'bent Brian

But go easy on your shoulder all the same mate. Not sure what you had done but I had an op on my grade V ac separation 18 months ago and pushed the exercise to quickly on about the three month mark (as instructed by the physio) - I now have 1cm drop on my right shoulder. Ease back in there and listen to body as much as your "specialist" because he could be a [censored].
