Hi,
Ok, back around Christmas I bought myself an EZ-3 trike.
I've been loving it. I ride it to and from work everyday (a
little over two miles each way). It's pretty heavy and this
is hill country.
I'd really love to see how this thing would perform If I
swapped out the fork for a bigger one, added a 26 inch
wheel in the front, and stuck me a couple of 26 inch wheels
in the back.
I know this would very likely raise my front end up a couple
of inches higher than it presently sits. I don't think this
will be a bad thing as I'm having some issues with numb feet
and have discovered by experimenting with the seat position
and back angle that I can minimize my discomfort or delay
it's onset. The goal is to be able to ride faster, and be
able to get on it and ride all day without any discomfort
what so ever.
Every big wheeled bike I've ever rode has been faster than
any little wheeled bike I've ever rode. I think the same
would apply to a trike as well.
I'm also thinking a fork with shocks.
any input?
helpful suggestions
Thanks,
Chuck
