When I was living in Ohio I witnessed a bicycling accident. Person was riding in the rain at a pretty good clip and a elderly woman made a left turn into his path. The guy was riding in a marked bicycle lane . In my rear view mirror I could see him straighten his arms out and get ready for impact. He hit her car door pretty hard.
Any way the next day or so there was a big thick white "X" on the road. What's that all about? Do they report and keep track of accidents here in Washington,or King County?

It marks the spot where an accident happened and people left the scene of the crime without hanging around to tell the cops what happened... Another poor sap munches asphalt and is left to pick his own teeth up off the floor by himself because everyone is just too plain busy to stop for 10 minutes.
