Yes - rented a couple in Central Park (on a Sunday when it's free of traffic) - bikes were pretty
clapped out but a great experience - not sure if you are allowed out of the park ... we didn't
venture out, driving a car in NY was exciting enough!Price was fairly minimal - only hassle was having to leave passport (I think) as a security deposit.
Rental place is by the Boating Lake on the 5th Ave side of the park (sort of behind the Met Museum)RG
