  1. I'd like to buy my brother a bicycle for his upcoming birthday. I was
    looking for a "comfort"
style bike as he will be a casual bike rider and just riding in and
around the neighborhood and not doing any long-distance riding. Since
    he's about 6' 4" and 180 lbs., I guess he'll need a larger bike, if
they make them. Thank you in advance for any suggestions and
    recommendations.

Give him a gift certificate to a good local bike shop that can help him with
    the selection, sizing, and fitting.

    Sara, what's your budget?

Can he come with you to the bike shop as a part of the fitting and the
    present?

To buy without him there, you need to know his inseam, but it's probable
that at 6'4" he'll need the 22" frame.
