Hello. I have a middle aged, metallic, root beer brown Bianchi road bike that I think was built in around 1987. It's a beautiful bike and, as the second owner, I've tried to get more exact information from Bianchi USA. Of course, any correspondence sent to a corporate HQ nowadays seems to disappear down a black hole. All I know for certain is that the bike has a "Made in Japan" sticker on the downtube and the serial number on the bottom bracket is CS12973. The bike was equipped with Suntour Cylclone derailleurs and Dia-Compe brakes. I would appreciate any information that a Bianchi afficianado might have or a gentle point in a helpful direction. Thanks. Gordon.
