Beware slime tubes

you not to use their air pumps if you had this stuff in your tubes.

Well the aerosol leak stop stuff they sell for motor vehicle tires had a
n explosion warning on the can the last time I used that junk, and it
was junk. But that was at least 10 years ago, but that was probably
before the days of slime.

Slime obeys the laws of physics. When a bike is stationary, it flows
to the bottom side of the wheel. When the bike is underway, centripetal
force spreads it around the outside.
Where was the valve then you put the gauge on it? I use a guage from
time to time, and a valve-equipped floor pump regularly on my slimed
tires, and I've never had a problem. Of course, I watch where the valve
is...
