  1. Beta Testers Required

We are involved in a long term project with a well known pharmaceutical company which involves
the delivery of a specialist training programme on cdrom now, and in 2005 on cdrom and the
    clients intranet.

The training, which runs for approximately 30 minutes, deals with the correct procedures involved in
the shipping of diagnostic and infectious samples by air and, at the end of the training, there is a
validatory questionnaire. The core regulations for these practices are updated annually so the
training programme has to be updated annually also.

The programme is currently produced in English, French and Spanish, so we need to establish a base
of testers with different computers, running different versions of Windows and fluent in at least
    one of these languages.

The cdrom, which runs on all versions of Windows from '95/NT4 onwards, requires 64mb of RAM, a cdrom
drive, a printer and a compatible sound and VGA card. The programme is self-contained, it doesn't
install onto the host computer nor does it need anything special within the host computer. A
software video player is built into the programme which delivers full colour PAL at 720x576 in the
    English version.

Because the programme ships worldwide it is essential that we cover computer configurations that
might be considered outdated by today's standards. We also need to test on networks too as many
users will be in such situations and often still running NT4.

Successful applicants will be paid for each language/version/OS of the programme they test.

Preference will be given to applicants who can test the programme on more than one computer, and/or
are fluent in French and/or Spanish. Some basic medical knowledge might be useful but is not
essential as the content is relatively easy to understand.

If you think you might be interested in participating in the testing of this programme and would
like to receive further details and an application form, please send an email to [email hidden]; we
will reply from our main email account.

    Thank you.
