  1. I'm having trouble finding Conti Top Touring tires anywhere in stock (looking for the 700cx28s). Can anyone recommend a good substitute for credit card/lightly loaded touring in Provence and Burgundy?

    Many thanks.

Try Schwalbe Marathon or Panaracer Pasela. Vittoria and Vredestein has similar tires to, but I do not know the name of the model. I have tried the Marathon´s and think they are very good although not as comfy as the Contie´s! 😎

  3. I agree panaracer pasela are good. they have a slightly thicker tread than conti's but run really well. I haven't tried schwalbe marathon but have heard they're good too (I think a thicker tread still). If you're sticking to tarmac/a bit of tracks paselas will be fine (but I'd still put slime inside them :-))
