Whats the point of even practicing time trials on Zwift if everyones just going to stick to the same old routes like Watopias Hilly Route or the Innsbruckring? Dont you think thats just lazy and uncreative? I mean, seriously, how many times can you ride the same 10km loop before you start to lose your mind? And whats the point of even calling it a time trial if youre not pushing yourself on a truly challenging course?

Id like to know what routes you all think are actually worth using for time trial practice. Not just the ones that are easy to ride and get a good time on, but the ones that will actually test your skills and endurance. You know, the ones with real hills, real wind resistance, and real technical challenges.

And dont even get me started on the whole drafting thing. If youre just going to ride in a group and draft off other riders, then youre not really doing a time trial at all. Youre just cheating yourself out of a real workout.

So, what are your favorite time trial routes on Zwift? Are you just a sheep following the herd, or do you actually have the guts to try something new and challenging? Lets hear it.

⛰️ Ever tried the Alpe du Zwift? Now *that's* a time trial course with some real challenges! Sure, it's not for the faint of heart (or lungs), but isn't that the point of a time trial? To push yourself to the limit? Or are you more of a "flat route or bust" type of cyclist? :p

And about drafting, I couldn't agree more! It's like showing up to a race with a motorcycle - where's the fun in that? Embrace the wind resistance, folks! It's all part of the experience. So, let's hear about your most thrilling, uphill time trial experiences. Or are you saving your breath for the climb? 🚀

"Exactly! It's high time to ditch the mundane and embrace the thrill of a true challenge. My top pick: the Volcano Climb Expansion. Brutal hills, fierce wind resistance, and pure adrenaline. Forget drafting, it's about grit and personal bests. So, are you ready to conquer or just another follower?"

Real cyclists crave a challenge. Forget the same old routes, test your mettle on Zwift's Volcano Circuit or the Mountain 8 route. Steep inclines, fierce wind resistance, and technical descents will truly push your limits. Drafting? That's for the timid. Embrace the burn and prove your worth. #NoPainNoGain.

:rolling\_eyes: Oh, you MUST be new here. Everyone knows the same routes can get monotonous, but let's be real, they're classics for a reason. And newsflash: not everyone is looking for a heart-attack-inducing challenge on their daily ride.

As for drafting, it's not cheating, it's strategy. It's like trying to drop someone on a climb - a skill worth mastering if you ask me.

But hey, if you're bored of the usual suspects, why not try the Volcano Climb or the Titans Grove Gravel? Both offer their own unique challenges. Or better yet, create your own custom route! Now THAT would be innovative.

While sticking to popular routes like Watopia's Hilly Route or Innsbruckring can be easy and comfortable, it may not provide the ultimate time trial challenge. I appreciate the call for exploring more demanding and creative courses. For a true test of skills and endurance, consider routes with dynamic terrain, varying wind conditions, and technical sections.

Instead of drafting in a group, opt for solo rides to focus on your personal performance. A few challenging time trial routes on Zwift include:

1. **Volcano Circuit CCW** - Features a tough climb and thrilling descent, with varying wind directions.
2. **Tour of Fire and Ice** - This long route has multiple challenging hills and technical descents.
3. **Yorkshire Echelon** - Offers diverse terrain, including the iconic Norwood Edge climb.

By exploring these routes, you can enhance your time trial skills, endurance, and overall cycling experience.

Volcano Circuit CCW, Fire and Ice, Yorkshire Echelon, heard 'em all. But honestly, those popular routes? They're like training wheels. If you wanna test your mettle, try the Alpe du Zwift. Now *that's* a challenge. Forget about drafting in a group, it's all about you against the mountain.

Sure, those new routes might sound tough, but they ain't got nothing on the Alpe. I mean, c'mon, varying wind conditions and technical sections? That's kid stuff. Give me a 21-switchback climb any day.

And yeah, I get it, you wanna enhance your time trial skills and endurance. But let's call a spade a spade - you're not really testing your limits if you're sticking to the beaten path. So, are you ready to leave your comfort zone behind and tackle some real terrain? Or are you gonna keep playing it safe? The choice is yours.

Alpe du Zwift's the only route that'll truly test you. 21 switchbacks, no drafting, no excuses. It's you vs the mountain. Forget those "training wheel" routes. Time to step up, or stay stuck in the easy zone. Your move.

Y'know, you're right. Alpe du Zwift, that's where it's at. The rest? Just training wheels. But let's be real, not everyone's cut out for the big leagues. Sure, 21 switchbacks, no drafting, it's tough. But if you gotta ask, you probably can't handle it. I mean, really, "training wheel" routes? As if there's something wrong with taking it easy. Maybe some folks just want to enjoy the ride, not break their backs. Each to their own, I guess.

Ain't gotta be so harsh, mate. Sure, Alpe du Zwift is a beast, but it ain't for everyone. Some of us just want a casual ride, not a leg-burnin' challenge. Volcano Circuit's still got its tough bits, but it's more accessible for many. Each to their own, I say. #keepcyclingsocial

You think the Volcano Circuit is tough? Sure, it’s got a few punchy sections, but come on. If you’re just cruising through without pushing limits, what's the point? It ain't just about enjoying the ride. Aren't we all here to level up? Real time trials should have you gasping, questioning your life choices halfway up a climb.

What about those wild routes like the new France ones? You hit real elevation changes, and it’s not just a smooth spin. Are people actually tapping into those, or still stuck in their comfort zones? It’s almost like folks are scared to get their ass kicked by a course.

Drafting in a time trial? That’s just a cop-out. If you gotta lean on someone else, are you really testing your own mettle? Let's get real. What’s the most grueling route you’ve tackled? Or are we all just riding in circles, stuck in the same old rut?
