Hi... I am looking into new rear shock options for mt 2001 Giant AC-1. Does
anyone have any opinions? I think I would prefer a shock which has a lock
out? What do you think?
Thanks in advance...

Check out the new Fox Float RP3. I have an AC1 2002 and will upgrade to the
Fox RP3 for X-mas :-). Also, for 2005, Giant is offering the AC model
starting at $999.99US. It will be replacing the Warp. Of course it will not
have the high end stuff, but by doing so more people will have access to the
AC frame. Giant also has replaced the VT model for 2005(in North America
anyway) with a newer model( I forgot the name, dam!!!) You'll be seeing it
soon after interbike. Kind of a wierd setup. Kinda looks like a KHS. -

Thanks in advance...Manitou SPV 4 way, air or coil depending on your riding style. I had an
AC with that stock from Giant and it was one sweet handling shock.-Bruce
