  1. Hello,

I am looking for comments on what is the best 26" and 20" (406) tires for recumbents that are light
but doesn't get a flat on every ride. I have used the most popular 26" x 1" tire and had several
flats. I will go up to 1.25" maybe slightly larger if a tire has reasonable weight. low rolling
resistance and is not very prone to flats. Please let me know what tires you do and don't like.

    TIA, Mike

  2. Hello: as far as performance with durabilty i use a 26x1.25 avocet city K which is slick and has a
kevlar belt to help prevent flats and you can inflate it up to 120psi. for the front i use a S-Slick
1.3 which is a semi slick tire that you can inflate up to 100psi. with this combination you should
have very good luck along with performance. Thank you Earl GRR,RANS V2 Ti Rush,Ti Pursuit
