The Best Pecan Pie
1 frozen pie crust
1 cup pecans broken up, but not crushed
Spread nuts over bottom of crust. Mix:
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup syrup Bob White Golden
This a middle-of-the-road syrup, not dark, not white.
2 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Mix well. Don't use a hand mixer, too much fluff. A wire whisk is best.
Pour over nuts that are in the crust. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
This recipe is the very best pecan pie I have ever eaten. Ky mother
found it in a Woman's Day magazine over 50 years ago. It is also
ultra easy!
