  1. I knew riding a 'bent would attract a lot of comments, but yesterday's
takes the biscuit! Mostly people are just curious, and often
complimentary. Yesterday I went past three 'yoofs', one on a bike, two
on foot. They shouted something inaudible. Shortly after I stopped to
use a toucan crossing. They caught up, the one on a bike pulling in
front of me doing a wheely to show his superior cycling skills. Another
one walked across the front of me, making derisory remarks about speed.
I kept going towards him (there was plenty of room and time for him to
get out of the way). He ran off shouting "Argh I was nearly run over by
    an old lady!"
I would like it to be known that it is 18 months before I reach my half
    century!

I kept the USS Tidal Wave - by far the best bike of the three. I got
just short of £400 for the OSS Jet Stream. My husband has now decided to
keep the USS Jet Stream. Does that make us a 'bent couple??

If you are, we are too... Doesn't seem to be a problem!
