or saving his legs. Contrary to what was said about the stage by lots
of riders, it wasn't a hard stage by GC standards.

Today was no better. Anybody think he WON'T be there as insurance for the
boss in the Alps? It's all a question of proper timing.

boss in the Alps? It's all a question of proper timing.

Azevedo and Rubiera did a superb job, after George "Massive Carcass"
Hincapie deposited the team at the foot of Col du Tourmalet. I expect
they just ran a quick pole over the radios, "who feels strong today?"
and put them to work, leaving the others to hopefully be ready for the
next day. It's good to have a team.
