    I have heard that the older models, before 2004, had
    structural problems and were not be allowed at some races.
    What is the scoop on this? A local bike store chain was
    blowing them out this weekend at half price. Stan Gertler

    Stan, how ya doin'?

    According to USAT rules the helmet has to be CSPC approved.
    I'm not aware of any exceptions to that rule.
