I wish Shane Stokes had asked Hamilton what the WADA says the mixed
population percentages were from the Vuelta A and B samples. I can't find
anyplace where the WADA has released those numbers.

Was that data posted from the "positive" Athens sample? I don't recall
seeing it in the .pdf file. According to data I saw several months ago,
the test was claimed to have a sensitivity of 2 tsp of homologous blood
(in of a body volume of about 6 liters), or about 0.2% by volume.

About 50K to 60K cells are tested in the cytometer, hence, 0.2% would
represent a secondary peak of about 100-120 counts. I have not seen any
data on the noise floor of the test.

AFAIK, it wasn't released for the Athens sample, either, and none of the
actual test results appeared in the USADA .pdf file. It would be
interesting to see all the histograms, of course, but particularly the two
Vuelta histograms since they'd give some sense of how much precision the
test has across samples taken at the same time.

Hehe...how convincing, I'm struck reading his interview that he's much
too ratonal to be someone expelled for two years in error, anyone
would be apoplectic in this situation, no ?
