Hi everyone, I'm a beginner looking to get a new road bike, and I have no idea where to start! I don't have much money to work with...$400 at most (just got my tuition bill in the mail!). I've been searching but I don't see many options. The only bikes I've found in this price range was a Motobecane Mirage and Mirage Sport. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
PS: I was also looking at the Trek SU100 and SU200. I know they're not "road" bikes, but would I be better off with the Trek over the Motobecane?
I just came across this Ibex classic 3300. After reading some stuff about bikesdirect.com, I think I'll stay away from the Motobecane. I'm still interested in the Trek SU100/200 though.
