The chef for the Belkin cycling team is explaining one of the unusual food ingredients which it is hoped will give its riders an extra edge in this year's Tour de France.
 
This actually looks like a good one. I've always liked beets and beet juice, but I had not seen the root juice. It increases stamina and reduces fatigue. Detoxifies the body.

I have not come across this, but it seems that it is one of a good stuff that you can really enjoy especially as we are moving to that situation where you get to enjoy some great time while cycling.

Its still a thing, there is some decent science supporting it. I've never tried it, but I have seen guys in summer with discolored sweat noticeable on white jerseys.
