Bear Mountain/Harriman State Park on September 11
The "fall" race at Harriman State Park in New York is back this year
with fields for pro-1-2, women pro-1-2-3, women 4, cat 3, cat 4 and
masters 40+/50+/60+.

And we're making some improvements from the spring race -- much bigger
purses in the elite men's and elite women's field, with an equal prize
for the men's and women's winner. Plus if there winner of either of
these races is also a winner from the Mengoni Grand Prix, they get
$500 cash bonus. There is a $300 bonus to double winners of the cat 3
race. And the cat 4 women get a separate start of their own.
Most importantly, this race is now the Nancy Morgenstern Memorial in
honor of a local racer who lost her life in the September 11, 2002
terrorist attacks. The winner of the women's pro-1-2-3 race will
receive the Nancy Morgenstern Trophy.
