  1. I stumbled over an article on the BBC News web page about a new long
distance path by the name of The Beacons Way. Their website at
    http://www.breconbeaconsparksociety.org/psway.htm
has a coarse route description. The middle bit from Talybont Reservoir
to Llanddeusant is pretty obvious as there is mostly one ridge with not
much either side, but I was a bit surprised of the choice of route
    at either end.

Apparently they've already waymarked the whole lot. I wonder how they
managed to do this so secretly, as I haven't noticed any signs when
I went down there last year. Maybe this says more about my attention
to signs than anything else though...

  2. Looks interesting
A pity they had to include the 2 day walk-in & 2 day walk outs to make it
    fit a recognisable"route"
