"Saturday Northwesterly winds at 20 to 30 knots shifting west to southwesterly at 30 to 40 knots during the day and easing to 20 to 30 knots at night."
Have a ride lined up for Sat am down to Rellie's place at Red Hill. MAybe that 'Northwesterly winds at 20 to 30 knots' will push me all the way down 😄
Altho knowing the unwritten law-of-Beach-Rd ( If on 2 wheels without a motor, thou shall have a headwind! Even if you turn 180degrees, you will still have a headwind!!!) the 2nd bit might thwart me... 'shifting west to southwesterly at 30 to 40 knots during the day'
Anyone care to join me so I can draft you :-), I mean, chat ?

I need to do some long kays if I'm ever going to do this Melb-Mildura ride... but I hate having to do the second half into the wind 🙁
I guess it will be good practise for when I hit the mallee! :S
I might actually dust the cobwebs off the Pug roadie and take it out.. gee.. wonder if I'll remember how to change gears?
