today i thought i go for a ride at the local beach. it has soft sand, so i planned to ride my mountain bike with lower tire pressure in the area just above where the wave action ends. the beach is a national park and allows beach buggies to drive on the shore.
guess what... bikes are not permitted on the beach! say what? beach buggies yes, bikes no. Assateague National Park, Maryland.
So where are you folks riding on the beach? maybe there's a place near me and i can be a kid again.
