  1. Hey,

Got a '10 Marin Palisades that has a low end Truvativ crank and sq BB, 68mm x 113. I can get a great deal on a raceface deus (new). My question, before I decide to go ahead and experiment, is there anything wrong with leaving off one 2.5mm spacers on the drive side to bring the chainline to 48.5mm (which is the set-up now) from the 50mm as per the installation directions for a 68mm with a clamp on FD. There are 2 other 1mm spacers that can go +/- 1mm from 50mm but just wondering if my idea would work? Or am I just thinking too much and go with the 50mm set-up and adjust the FD? Am away from home at the moment and no shop near here to go pick minds. Thanks...

  2. Never mind....figured this whole chain line thing out, more or less.
