  1. Any shrinks in the house? I have been having difficulty driving lately,
biggest problem is in interstate driving. I think it has to do something
with the 10,000 + miles I ride on a bike a year. I've had hundreds of near
misses, you just file it away in the back of your mind. But now, I get this
unreasonable fear, when driving, especially when tractor-trailers are going
by me, while driving. I get kind of wild-eyed, death grip on the steering
wheel. I actually feel more comfortable on my bike, because I feel I can
escape all of these idiots. But in a car, I feel trapped. Now I know
Patton would just slap me across the head, and send me to the front, but I'm
looking for a more compassionate solution.

Get a big rig. No need to haul around the trailer. Put a sun roof in
    it, too.
If that doesn't suit you, then perhaps a garbage truck or cement mixer
    will do.
(flashes back to scene in the Matrix when the garbage truck takes out
    the phone booth)

    Oh yeah, don't get passed.

Bicycle racing ruins your ability to drive. That's just a fact.

I almost never use my brakes and I feel bad when I do. Also, I yell at
all the other fools who randomly tap their brakes (like, before a stop
sign) or slow down to do silly things like turn. Where'd these people
    learn to behave like that?

Its even worse if you have a convertible. The police don't seem to approve
of people driving no hands while they put a rain jacket on.

And it looks damn weird when you are instinctively pointing out rocks
in the road and potholes to other cars...
