  1. Has anyone tried Barilla plus - nutrition added pasta? I don't like
whole wheat pastas. Just wondering how this one tastes.
    TIA

I haven't seen it in my stores yet, though I understand it's due. It
is a mixture of grains: the usual semolina plus oats, spelt and
barley. I think regular Barilla pasta is excellent, so maybe they did
a good job here. They apparently created this to meet the American
craving for "added nutrition" without settling for the not very popular
taste of "whole wheat" pasta. They claim higher protein and higher
fiber and even some Omega 3 for it.

  3. I'm very surprised--it's good!!! It takes longer to cook than "regular"
pasta--so if you love al dente--this is perfect--remember to cook it
    longer. I recommend it.

  4. The Penne is outstanding. Same texture as pasta PLUS all the goodies!
