I had a quick look at the £40 50+10 rucksack and it seemed well made
and well padded to my all be it inexperienced eye.

Looks like a very descent ruckack. Personnally, I'd have prefered 60 + 10
litre, as a 50 + 10 is smallish for backpacking in anything but very hot
weather, but too large for Winter day trips.

I bought my 70 litre from Aldi a few years ago for £15 and it's has good
service and has lasted. Minus points are it's too heavy and it has too many
straps and zips.

The above nonsense is the standard way to define hyperlinks as defined
by RFC 1738. If double clicking the link does not send you to the page
then your browser is not compatible. Similarly if the link gets
wrapped, which from your reply, appears not to be the case. I'm well
aware of TinyURL and the like, but choose not to use them because
there's a standard in place. Additionally, in future, when browsing
the archive there's also the possibility of links being rendered
useless if these 3rd party redirection services cease to operate.
