  1. Banana Nut Bread

    2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    3 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/4 cups mashed ripe banana
    1/3 cup milk
    3 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 cup chopped nuts

    Preheat oven to 350. Grease bottom only of a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Mix dry
    ingredients in large bowl; combine remaining ingredients. Add to dry
    ingredients and stir just until combined. Pour into pan. Bake until wooden
    pick inserted in center comes out clean, about 60 to 65 minutes. Cool
    slightly. Loosen sides of loaf from pan; remove from pan. Cool on rack.
