    Hi,

    I'm looking at a new road bike in the 1000 Euro catagory and tested both the Focus (1200Euro) and Cube Attempt (1199).

    Now I've seen a couple of bike shops offering what they claim is the same frame as the original with the same group sets. Rabe in Munich is offering a Cube frame with Ultegra and San Remo is selling the Focus frame also Ultegra for abut 200 Euro less than the named version.

    Is there a catch or are we really paying for the name? Does anyone own either of these bikes?

    I've since purchased the Rabe from Munich. I've Ultegra triple and am having great fun with it so far.
