I have been biking for quite some time so this pain in my toes is unusual to me. I bought a Nordictrack upright cycle so I can exercise indoors. I noticed in the last month that after my workout my toes kill me! It's especially painful in the morning for about an hour after I wake up. I have iced them and there is some redness and bruising but very little. I thought maybe my resistance was too high and I was pedaling too hard but its not. I cycle fast (similar to spinning). I adjusted the seat, tried biking without shoes on but nothing seems to work! I don't know if its the bike itself (happens to be a good bike) or my form. Either way I can't take the toe pain much longer. Has anyone ever had this problem? Suggestions would help, thanks!

It sounds like your shoes aren't giving the proper amount of support and cushioning...
I would try different shoes or changing the insoles in your current shoes to make sure you have enough cushion.
If you can see physical signs of bruising or irritation on your feet, then something is physically causing that..

It could also be that your shoes aren't sized correctly or that the shape of their last just doesn't suit you.
