Comments: This was a charity run with a slight twist. The number of charity runs in this area has
grown tremendously - almost to the point where they are working against each other. The RITA
Foundation got with 1st Place Sports to do an event where the runners could designate which charity
would get their support. This support included the entrance fee and any sponsorship money that the
runners raised. Nice idea. To top it off, the top three female and top three male runners got cash.
Had a grumpy night's sleep. Ate a grumpy breakfast. Drove through traffic to get downtown. Had a few
problems with race bibs and charity organization. Did a grumpy run. Crossed the finish line is what
kind of mood? NO, GROUCHY!
Here's the splits.
Distance Time MHR AHR to start :10 75 70 1 8:59 147 137 2 9:10 151 146 3 9:16 157 148 .1 :56 158 155
