  1. Since I got sick a few weeks ago, I haven't been to the YMCA to do the
weight machines. After I got better I still had a lingering cough, and
even though my doctor said I was no longer contagious, I didn't want nasty
looks from the other people working out. I kept active by going on walks,
but after my first real workout in weeks at the gym today, I realized those
walks just weren't enough. I can't believe how much better I feel today!
I didn't even realize how blah I'd been feeling until a few hours after I
worked out and I noticed how much I was smiling, and how long it had been
since I'd felt so happy. In fact, and I didn't really want to bring it up
here before, lately I'd felt a bit like I was slipping back into
depression, which I had a few years ago. Maybe I was, maybe I wasn't, but
it's pretty obvious to me now that I have to keep up with these workouts
for my mental and emotional well being, whether I want to lose any more
    weight or not.

I have only 3 flaws. My first flaw is thinking that I only have 3 flaws.

I'm glad you're back to the gym. Once I got into a regular
gym-exercise habit I was able to ditch the anti-depressants. It's
amazing to me that exercise makes me feel SOOOO much better, and I
always feel depression creeping back if I have to forego the gym for a
while. It's hard to get back into a routine once you've been forced
out for a bit (and kudos to you for not spreading your germs around
the machinery...lol) but now that you're back you'll lose those
'munchies' that have been bothering you...WON'T you? LOL Good luck
