I'm back to low carbing after several years of back problems (while my veggie husband did the cooking!) and I'm finding it more difficult than I remember. The first time I did 2 weeks induction I lost 10lbs! I was over the moon! This time, and I was very motivated, worked very hard and only lost 6. I pushed myself with exercise.......speed-walking our dog between 3 and 5 miles cross country each day! (I was quite pleased I was bringing my dog home panting, as well as me feeling I was almost crawling over the doorstep) I'l kept strickly to the induction regeme, drunk 3 litres of water per day and hoped for a quicker outcome! My calories vary between about 1000 and 1500 per day. I'm enjoying the food and finding the diet easy but I'm curious to know if Atkins is used several times, is it more difficult to lose weight? Has this happened to anyone else? Regards, Denise

Agreed, very good point, but last time I sat on my backside (sure it couldn't work!) this time I've tried to work with the diet. I've put heart and soul in to it.!

I find each time I break my woe, its much harder to keep up the next time. 🙁 So try to stick to it, and find interesting ways to prepare food. All the best Fiona

It seems that you're still underestimating what getting older will do to you.
