My guess is that most of these four wheel HPVs are a good deal more
expensive than Ray's old car :/

Not only that, but while I think they're quite cool (especially the
Rhoades car), they're neither fish nor fowl. Take the Rhoades Car,
http://www.rhoadescar.com/store/nav4w4p.htm it's too wide for a
cyclepath but imagine riding it in traffic!
